Dancing Queen
ABBA The Museum · Stockholm
Some songs belong to a time. Others continue to find new generations. When Dancing Queen was released in 1976, it quickly became a global success. Since then, it has accompanied people through generations – on dance floors, parties, weddings, concerts, and in living rooms around the world. But how was a song created that, even fifty years later, still makes people start dancing? In this exhibition, you will get closer to the story behind Dancing Queen. Through music, objects, images, and stories, you will follow the song’s journey from idea to recording to one of ABBA’s most beloved songs.
