Events in Chicago

Chicago is a city of neighbourhoods and of music: blues and jazz clubs, a huge improv comedy scene, and big summer festivals in Grant Park. The Loop has the theatres and the lakefront museums. Wicker Park, Logan Square and Pilsen are for smaller venues, bars and galleries.

Summer is festival season, with free events along the lakefront almost every weekend. Winters are cold, so the calendar moves inside to theatre, comedy and sports. The 'L' trains reach most neighbourhoods.
