Events in London

London has more going on in one evening than most cities have in a month, so it helps to think in areas. The West End is for musicals and big theatre. Camden, Shoreditch, Dalston and Brixton are for gigs, clubs and comedy. South Bank has concerts, galleries and riverside walks, and Wembley and the O2 host the biggest shows.

Many of the major museums and galleries are free to enter. Every station shows step-free access on the Tube map, and the Night Tube runs on some lines at weekends. Arrive early for popular gigs: queues for big venues can be long.
