Events in Nairobi

Nairobi's social life centres on Westlands, Kilimani and Karen. Westlands has the busiest nightlife and live music. Kilimani and Lavington have cafés, restaurants and smaller cultural events. Karen is greener, with weekend markets, family outings and outdoor activities.

Weekends are full of brunches, art markets, concerts and sports screenings. Nairobi National Park is just outside the city centre if you want something different. For evening events, plan your ride home in advance.
